Speaker 1:

Dear Sister, I know what it feels like to be lonely. Minutes become millenniums and days seem like an eternity. We crave human connection. It's the natural order of things. As a result, we fall into the snare of someone unworthy of our gifts. They feed off your energy, devouring every ounce of light until you're left in an abyss of darkness. You rattle with what your spirit already knows, but your heart is speaking another language, so you anchor yourself to a foundation of uncertainty and fear. The heart wants what it wants. As a result, the collateral damage will always be you. The seeds we plant should harvest a bounty overflowing with love, respect, reciprocity and peace, not fear, scarcity and lack.

Speaker 1:

And there you are, wandering in an empty field, wondering if it's you. You question your beauty, your body and your birthright. Yes, happiness is your birthright. And although it's an internal manifestation, aligning yourself with the wrong person disrupts what is freely yours. You barter with yourself, relinquishing your self-worth, your peace, your right to be loved the way you deserve to be loved. For a fleeting, false sense of belonging. You ignore the red flags or convince yourself that it's your job to change them.

Speaker 1:

Dear sister, we don't possess the power to change another. What we do have is the ability to change that person's position in our life. People can only give you what they have. Your assignment is to always choose you, and if that means changing their role in your life, do that. Investing in people who invest in you is priceless. You'll receive a return on that investment every single time. We have to study the art of being alone and learning to differentiate that from loneliness. Loneliness is the poverty of self. Solitude is the richness of self. Remember the beauty of being comfortable with self. Being alone will always be better than being with someone who doesn't value who you really are. I'm asking you today to release what no longer serves you. I'm asking you today to reclaim your work, your self-esteem, your peace. I'm asking you today to love yourself more than anyone else ever has or ever will. Even when your soul is tired and your heart is restless, find the courage to always choose you.
